Our Anniversary: January 15, 2008
January 31 2008 by admin.
Well, it’s all done. Jim and I bought IM=X Pilates Studio Blue Bell almost two weeks ago. I can’t imagine where we’d be if we were new to this business and had not actively tried to plan and prepare as much in advance as we did, and if there weren’t two of us. It’s so busy and chaotic! Jim has been absolutely amazing, and has accomplished things I couldn’t have managed even if my life depended on it- and in a way, it did!
We’ve undecorated, and opened up the space as much as we could, and have received positive feedback about our changes so far. Here are some pictures! Notice our fluorescent light covers- they’re fantastic.
We’ve been signing people up for February this week, and have 10 commitments so far- pretty much everyone we’ve seen since Monday who had a credit card on them! Between tonight and tomorrow, we should get about 10 more, and we need a total of about 30 to break even, so we’re doing absolutely great.
This Saturday we’re closed so the landlord can paint, but after that we have a regular Saturday Intro Class, a free introduction to IM=X Pilates, at 11:00am. Anyone in the area on the weekend should come see what it’s like, especially if you’ve never tried pilates on our Xercizer machines before. I think I’ll send that link directly to certain friends of mine in the Lehigh Valley area (coughallycough, excuse me)
