Many of you know Tammy Farion, one of IM=X Pilates Blue Bell’s regular morning clients. On Saturday evening, her daughter Lizzie was in a serious car accident with her boyfriend and his brother. I believe they are all seniors in high school. Lizzie has several broken bones. We don’t yet have any information about the boys. This morning Tammy left us a message that Lizzie was in surgery for one of her legs, and asked for your prayers. They are at Temple University Hospital. Tammy, Lizzie, we are here for you and you both are in our constant thoughts, and our prayers.

Today is a day to appreciate where we all live. It’s super easy to take tiny steps to protect this place, that aren’t at all inconvenient! Idealbite.com tells us that “If you replace ten 100W light bulbs with CFLs, you’ll reduce the same amount of CO2 that an SUV emits over a year” and “by replacing a 100-watt bulb with its CFL equivalent, you’ll save $100+ in electricity costs over the lifetime of each bulb.” (read it here)
IM=X Pilates Blue Bell tries to do its part, too. We’re fans of shutting lights off, opening windows, using recycled printer paper, and using PECO wind energy. We encourage you to try a few simple changes too.

If you’re interested in joining us at the Frames for Friends bowling night, please register by this Saturday, April 25 2009. We are planning to have a blast!
Next week is Earth Week. What better way to celebrate a healthy you than by celebrating a healthy family and a healthy planet?
Temple University Ambler is hosting an Earth Fest celebration on Friday April 29, 2009, 9:30am to 2:00pm, rain or shine. Join the Academy of Natural Sciences, Adventure Aquarium, Elmwood Park Zoo, The Franklin Institute, and even the Philadelphia Phillies, along with LOTS of other exhibitors in an outdoor educational celebration of Earth Day.
Yes, this event is near to Paula’s heart, as a Temple Ambler grad, and no, IM=X Pilates Blue Bell won’t be exhibiting this year, but you can still have fun and even learn something!
Frames for Friends
Join Friends of Hospice (Associated with Hospice of North Penn Visting Nurse Association) on Saturday, May 9 2009 at 7pm for an evening of bowling and prizes at Facenda-Whitaker Lanes in Norristown.
For $20, you can bowl for 2 hours, rent your shoes, have some snacks and win some prizes! A 76er Dancer will also stop by for a visit. Bring a couple of friends and make a fun evening of it! Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Lower Montgomery Chapter, will match up to $1,600 of the funds raised at this event.
You can contact Friends of Hospice at 215-646-4684, or by email at fohnpvna@verizon.net, or you can grab a tab off the flyer posted on the Info Board in the studio lounge. Maybe IM=X Pilates Blue Bell will form a team- just try and beat us!
Walking Heart n Sole for Beth Anne
