Our own Tater found this site. You upload your photo, and cartoonize or inkify or stencil it until you’re happy. There are great options to play with here! No registration is required, but if you do you can save your funky photos to an online gallery. Alternatively, you can download to your computer, using Photoshop or other programs. We’d love to see the photos you design.

Several IM=X Pilates Blue Bell clients finished the Broad Street Run on a very rainy May 3, 2009. Photos are available online for runners, but we can’t post them here- they’re proofs available for purchasing, not linking! If anyone has pictures to share, we’d love to see them. April 26 2009 marked the second annual appearance of the IM=X Pilates Blue Bell Teaser Team in the March for Babies. This year, the walkers included Jim, Paula, Beth, Jill, Kate, Jen, Dawn, and Kate’s boxer Tallulah. The day was sunny and hot, and it didn’t take long for Tulla to decide she didn’t like the weather. Kate’s husband had to come pick her up! A very nice police officer offered to collect Tulla and her entourage, Paula and Kate, but the girls’ ride had already arrived.  Thanks to all you wonderful clients, and your revenge tactics, the studio raised $600 for healthy babies. Thursday May 7 2009- Jim and Paula visited Lizzie and Tammy at Temple University Hospital today, and delivered her card from the studio. Lizzie is doing well. She’s had her surgeries, and she’s headed to Bryn Mawr Rehab tomorrow! She’s expecting a couple weeks of rehab, then home to her family. They both send their heartfelt thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes from everyone, and Tammy said to say, she’ll see us next week!

Many of you know Tammy Farion, one of IM=X Pilates Blue Bell’s regular morning clients. On Saturday evening, her daughter Lizzie was in a serious car accident with her boyfriend and his brother. I believe they are all seniors in high school. Lizzie has several broken bones. We don’t yet have any information about the boys. This morning Tammy left us a message that Lizzie was in surgery for one of her legs, and asked for your prayers. They are at Temple University Hospital. Tammy, Lizzie, we are here for you and you both are in our constant thoughts, and our prayers.

On Friday, March 27, come to Salon Solaire for a Spring Social and Business Card Exchange. Local businesses will be featured, including yours truly, so browse the salon’s offerings along with members of the local community. PENN-DOT has begun working on Route 202/DeKalb Pike in the area of the Route 476/Northeast Extension overpass. The stretch of highway directly in front of IM=X Pilates Blue Bell is smack in the middle of the construction zone, so be sure to allow some extra time to get to class. One lane is being intermittently closed throughout the day, and traffic is traveling more slowly than usual, so expect delays. ALSO have some extra patience when leaving the parking lot! Other drivers aren’t always known for their own patience, common sense, and ability to remain between the lines.
